Because being pretty and being smart are not difficult at all.
If you want to be pretty, there is a salon, the bodyshop, fashion, cosmetics or anything that can make you prettier.
If you want to be smart, you can study as much as you want. Besides internet will help you nowadays.
But the most difficult thing to do is... Not to hurt anyone's feeling.
